What is Diabetes? How Can It Be CURED?

insulin-how-to-400x400‘Diabetes is a chronic disease characterised by high levels of glucose in the blood.  Blood sugar levels are controlled by insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas.  Diabetes occurs when the pancreas is unable to produce enough insulin, or the body becomes resistant to insulin, or both.’ http://www.health.gov.au

There are two types of diabetes :

• Type 1 is an auto-immune disease where the body’s immune system attacks the insulin producing cells of the pancreas.

• Type 2 is associated with hereditary factors and lifestyle risk factors including poor diet, insufficient physical activity and overweight or obesity.

Understand the above definitions are from so-called ‘official sources’.  However, diabetes remains a symptom – but a symptom for what?  It is NOT a death sentence or a lifelong chronic illness one  has to live with.

DIABETES IS BEING CURED and, if you have diabetes, it is worth taking a moment to examine some background, which may enable you to get off your insulin dependency and continue to live a balanced and happy life.

Before I talk more about how you can heal yourself of diabetes, let’s take a moment to look at the extensive revenue and profit driven nature of diabetes.

Diabetes is a multi-billion dollar business market, making a handful of key pharmaceutical companies a tremendous amount of money.

According to a new technical market research report, ‘Diabetes Therapies and Diagnostics’ from BCC Research, the global market value for diabetes therapies and diagnostics is massive and growing.

• An estimated $38 billion in 2010, but is expected to increase to $51.2 billion in 2015, for a 5-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.1 per cent.
• The largest segment of the market, insulin products (including administration devices), is estimated to be worth $16.4 billion in 2010, and is expected to increase at a CAGR of 6.1 per cent to reach $22 billion in 2015.
• Around 280 Australians are diagnosed with diabetes every day with an estimated 3.61 million with diabetes or pre-diabetes.
• The key profiteers from this ‘ mere symptom’ are : Novo Nordisk, Takeda, Sanofi-Aventis and Eli Lilly. http://healthcare.financialexpress.com/201009/market08.shtml

These companies have a vested interest in there NOT being a cure found for diabetes.  Yet your cure might be as easy as changing some food types which form part of your daily meals.

US based Dr Gabriel Cousens runs very effective diabetes cure programs through his Tree of Life Centres in the US.  Using primarily LIVE, GREEN AND RAW plant-based nutrients, Dr Cousens can report astounding success facts.

• 28%  Type Two Diabetics reversed their diabetes after 3 weeks with no insulin and a fasting blood sugar (FBS) of less than 100.
• 60%  Type Two Diabetics were off all oral medications after 3 weeks with FBS less than than 100.
• 100 percent of pre-diabetics healed. http://treeoflifecenterus.com/diabetes-recovery-program/

Fruit Breakfast with Dairy Free SmoothieNow we can report that by simply removing from the daily food intake, heavy animal proteins including animal meat and dairy products as well as wheat and wheat based products, processed foods and high GI white sugar, that insulin dependency can drop.

We can report on the success of RAW Food Master Class student, John.  After just 3 months of selective changes to his daily food intake and a gradual and monitored control of his insulin intake, John NO LONGER NEEDS INSULIN.  His energy levels have increased.  His lethargy and mental fuzziness has gone and he is smiling again. In short, John has a new lease on life, as his digestive and nutrient absorption functions continue normalise.

We will report more on John’s progress but the most amazing thing is his strong motivation to heal himself so he would no longer have to live with diabetes.

The constructs about there being ‘no cure’ are part of the ‘sell’ from the drug companies to ensure their legalised drug business continues to prosper.

The power to self heal and put your bodily functions back into a state of ‘efficient balance’ is entirely in your hands.

If you, or someone you know, is affected by Diabetes, please check out the links in this article and do please share this information with others.  Unless we take responsibility for our own healing, humanity we will continue on this downward spiral of ill health and early demise.

    Dear Scott,

I was most interested to read about the success experienced by your diabetic RAW Food Master Class student, John, and would like to ask a related question about my own experience please, if I may.

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 7 months ago (July 2014) on my 55th Birthday. The diagnosis came as a complete shock to me as there is no history of Diabetes in my family, and I was not overweight. A friend gave me a copy of Gabriel Cousen’s dvd, and I immediately adopted the live raw vegan food principles explained in the dvd, and also in Dr Cousens’ book, which I later purchased. I managed to keep my blood sugar levels predictable, and within a normal range (4-8) for 3 months without ever using insulin. It had my diabetic support team (doctor, diabetes educator etc) flummoxed. I will say, though, that I was definitely not cured – it was necessary for me to stick rigidly to an extremely austere diet with a very low calorie intake for me to maintain these levels. I lost 10 kgs in 2 months.

However, after the initial 3 months, my sugar levels started to soar, literally overnight, reaching averages of 12-18, even though I continued to adhere to the same raw vegan diet. I was forced to commence inuslin. While I only need to take 4 units of insulin a day, which is much less than the doseage taken by most Type 1s, my sugar levels remain extremely unpredictable and fluctuate dramatically between 3.2 and 11 on the raw diet.

I was wondering if you have any advice that you could offer me please, on what may have caused my condition to deteriorate so quickly and dramatically on the raw diet that had previously controlled my sugar levels so beautifully. I’m obvioulsy doing something wrong, or missing something in the equation. I currently need to test my blood sugar levels constantly, and am very limited in what I can safely eat. I would love to be able to get off the insulin again, and not have to worry continually about my blood sugar levels. A complete cure would be even better.

    Many thanks and kind regards,
    Jenny Kinnear.

    • Hi Jenny,

TX for your comments. I am not able to give advice in the public domain but I would b delighted to share John’s experience with you offline. In essence I look at diabetes as a symptom so what is the cause. Science knows that its about the role of the pancreas in producing insulin or not and role extra glucose plays in upsetting the sugar balance. But feel free to give me a call as per your other message. Cheers Scott
