For a big part of my life my digestive tract was the metaphor for how I felt most of the time – a gut ache, a guts full, indigestion, gastric reflux and heartburn. I qualify as an expert on the subject of digestive health having been to my personal hell and back again. Now though, I live with the inner satisfaction of having healed myself and no longer have any gastric issues. I put it down to a deep desire to ‘resolve’ my ‘life confusion’ and begin to live my purpose. No Doctors. No Meds. No more problems!!
I chose to live simply, conduct myself simply, eat and drink simply, love simply and above all else, simply enjoy every moment. My gut healing was a turning point for me. Being simple in life all of a sudden gave it and me, purpose and meaning. Shoyu lime carrots – nothing simpler 🙂
Simple doesn’t mean austere and barren. It can mean abundant and tasty when it comes to live and natural food. Life when you think of it is all about taste and palatability. Being able to stomach simple, yet colourful experiences is the norm for me now. But first I fixed my digestive function. You can too and I am here to share my insights and wisdom into this delicate yet intractable subject because if your gut isn’t working then chances are your life isn’t either.
