Google trends report massive interest in veganism searches in the last 10 years but more so in recent months with Australia and the North West of the United States leading the number of searches using the word ‘veganism’.
Major Australia cities-Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane are leading the way with the emergence of more and more vegan eateries on a weekly basis. Our own GoVegan Deli in Noosa is a case in point. We opened to demand and an opportunity to create food for those people keen to make changes for better health and find pragmatic ways to participate with growing awareness around veganism.
This is all GOOD NEWS both for individuals and the planet as a whole. I could lay down a raft of stats supporting a move towards veganism but I’d prefer to guide your towards this respected site http://www.cowspiracy.com/facts/ and glean what you need to support a conscious choice.

I’m often asked why I am a vegan: initially for health reasons and now definitely for ethical reasons.
For much of my life I just couldn’t stomach animal flesh so my heart was telling me way back as an 8 year old, when my health issues started, that something was not quite right.
Something is definitely a-foot if more and more people are needing answers to the vegan question. Google Trends is a great way to monitor interest in a particular subject and it’s heartwarming to see the massive growth in the search for all things vegan.
