100 RAWSOME Guests Go Vegan at Ricky’s Bar & Restaurant on the Noosa River!
I have passion. I also have deep faith. The two go hand in hand and what is unfolding right now at this time in my life was unimaginable, yet somehow ‘in the program’.
The recent launch of the Let’s Eat RAW recipe book at Ricky’s on the River, right here in Noosa, was a resounding success.
More than 100 people gathered to experience a mini-raw degustation prepared by Ricky’s head Chef, Braden White and his team – small yet very assuming dishes filled the bellies of the gathered. Served with kombucha from Buchi – Australia, the food went down a treat. It was so heartening to see NO meat, wheat, dairy, processed food, white sugar or cooked food on the luscious menu.
Coinciding with the book launch was a ‘pre-planned’ series of Sunshine Coast library talks. These are booked out and there are waiting lists to be a part of these sessions. I am also presenting to a number of service associations and practitioner groups as well. My Let’s Eat RAW presentations are going down very well – excuse the pun.
One over-arching factor emerging from these sessions is the number of people with digestive health issues.
